How it All Began

A Path of Soulmates

The first time Sarah met Caleb, she knew that he was the one. Beneath the surface of first-date conversation, there was a quiet knowing.

Caleb, on the other hand, arrived with a path already laid out. He was there as a travel nurse, passing through Portland on an assignment. Six months, maybe less. “Don’t get too attached.” He told her. “I’m leaving.” And he meant it. His life had been built on movement..

They chose each other for what was real in that moment, and trusted that even a short, deep connection would bring more joy than the ache of parting. Something about Caleb invited Sarah to choose presence without a future.  And something about Sarah rooted him in a way he hadn’t expected.

What was meant to be temporary began to feel like home. And just six months in, something shifted and quickly there became only one path forward.

A path of soulmates.

And so they built something together that neither of them had planned—a life. Weaving in Sarah’s children, Eden and Nashid, they bought a home and welcomed the dog, Frankie. For the past four years, they have been committed to building community and being in service to their healing professions. And this summer, they opened the doors to a healing center devoted to bringing sacred ceremony into their community.

Together, they are building a life rooted in truth, growth, presence, and a deep devotion to one another. They stand together in a love that was never forced. It was remembered.

And on 8/8 they invite you to celebrate the sacred union of their eternal love.
